Tellie Simonson is a graduate of Iowa State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education.  After graduation, she spent four years teaching second and third grade in a private school environment. Tellie’s teaching experience also includes teaching preschool in Cornelius.

She and her husband, Tom, live in Cornelius with their three boys: Andrew, Zachary, and Grant.

Tellie is very excited for the opportunity God has given her to teach at GCA. 　She hopes that all of her students will develop a love of learning and most of all, a life-long love for the Lord!
