Amy Yon graduated from Southeastern University in 2002 with a BS in Pre-K/Primary Education.  She has been actively involved in various areas of children’s ministry since she was a teenager.   She has a passion for seeing children grow, not only academically & socially, but most importantly spiritually. 

Amy and her husband, Jason, have two precious children – Jayden and Aubrey.  And Jason has been a Children’s pastor at Grace Covenant Church for 9 years.  Together, their passion is to partner with parents; encouraging and resourcing parents in their spiritual journey with their children. 

Amy is excited to join the GCA teaching team for the 2011-12 school year!  She is looking forward to both teaching about and experiencing God’s love in the classroom.  Her passion is to make learning fun and experiential for her students.
