First grade is blessed to have Ms. Waits' love and enthusiasm.  Ms. Waits comes to us with 17 years of teaching experience in private education. Diane received her teaching degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Although born and raised in North Carolina, she is new to the Cornelius area and lives on Lake Norman.  She has two grown sons, Ryan and Trevor.  She regularly attends church at The Cove in Mooresville.

Ms. Waits' ideal teaching situation revolves around exactly what GCA offers...a Christ-centered curriculum, supportive parents and staff, and wonderful resources to ensure each student learns to their highest potential.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
