First grade is blessed to have Ms. Waits' love and enthusiasm.  Ms. Waits comes to us with over 20 years of teaching experience, most of which has been in private education. She joined the teaching staff at GCA  in 2010.  Diane received her teaching degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  A native North Carolinian, she now lives in Cornelius on Lake Norman.  She has two grown sons, Ryan and Trevor,  and enjoys attending church at The Cove in Mooresville.

Ms. Waits' ideal teaching situation revolves around exactly what GCA offers...a Christ-centered curriculum, supportive parents and staff, and wonderful resources to ensure each student learns to their highest potential.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
